Yes, that would be madness. Actually just bright acrylics on gesso. I tried to actually learn some lessons from the previous one when painting this:
This is the sketch, and shows that transferring the sketch from paper can result in blurry lines - which have to be fixed - as well as just missing parts.
I painted in various primary colours and varnished, which gives it a slightly jewel-like feel.
It’s good, but I regret using the brown in the yellow shapes. After painting over with brigh yellow (with high gloss medium) it ended up better, however.
