Wait and see. I found another pattern online, and realised it was very simple. Or did I find it in a book? I can’t remember, anyway it is ‘just’ a hexagonal-square-triangle tiling where you join the midpoints of the lines. Easier to show than describe:

Well, after making a woven version of the pattern with silver ink, I wanted to fill in the empty spaces, so I put flowers in there.
Then in the smaller gaps, some inked pink shapes. It shows how imprecise those parts are, given how ‘twisted’ the purple jewel shapes are.
