After the palette cleanser (as it were) of the small square Truchet one, I went back to the large scale. This time, I made the (square) geometry much more even.
Quite the effort, even for a simple pattern like this.
Not green and blue, though, not this time. Just yellow and red fluorescent inks with some variation in the shade.
At this point, it looks pretty good, if quite simple. Very bright.
Just to make it as bright as possible, I put on a final varnish. It only brightens it a little, but even so. I also messed around with it a bit.
Overall, quite pleased with this one as a cleaner, simpler version of the hexagonal pattern. The more limited palette is also good. Randomness/variation is less, but still present.
