So, strictly speaking, I should really start these designs from just a circle. Inscribed within such a circle is a root-3 rectangle given a division of the circle into 12 parts. However, I cheat and measure the sides - unfortunately this introduces some small (sub-millimeter?) errors. Here is the larger scale one:
It is good, but not the same as the previous Orosi one I did - either in terms of the cell size (70 x 121 mm) or the repeating unit.
So I re-did the same thing, but at a smaller scale. Or larger scale? Whichever, it’s zoomed in:
This also suffered from the same small inaccuracies, as well as the problem of remembering which points to join up. Should probably have done the whole step-by-step drawings to show the whole sequence. Also, the final pattern is so abstract at this scale that only if you regularly create these patterns would it even be clear what it is!
