So I bought a Tile book from the V&A and among the many interesting designs (and a few boring ones!) was this nice French tile from Sèvres based on an Islamic design.
So I tried my hand at tracing and painting it
So the result came out quite nice. The green actually looks a little translucent…
Pleasingly, the green also picked up some gold flecks from the paintbrush I was using which has a subtle result.
