So Following on from the penrose tiling decay one, I had a similar thought in making a diseased-like or bleeding pattern. This is the base design:
So just a standard design - coloured in greens, yellows, and blues.
Well I wanted some sort of flowing colour going into the shapes, between them and into them. The end result looks like this:
It sortof works, but it’s very hard to get the balance right between putting too much red in there and overwhelming what’s underneath. Tricky.
