These should be very easy to draw, but turn out to be quite hard to do at a scale of element that looks good. Here at a larger scale:
The design here is to have a penrose tiling that is decaying into … space or something.
Then, trying the same thing at a smaller scale:
but on a larger canvas. It took a long time with tracing, which gets increasingly innacurate (even using the vertex combinations). Also the orange colour was a mistake, and the black was uneven and could have been grey.
