So a while ago - nearly 12 months in fact - I started out with copying this triangular dodec design from Sutton. Although I was pleased with it at the time, I decided that I could probably improve on it …
And I did! This was a combination of : tracing the original, deconstructing the pattern, tracing that, using gouache, and outlining in ink.

As always, painting the ink was the most nerve-wracking part.
