Something I’ve tried before, but for such a simple idea it’s quite hard to pull off:
All with watercolour pencil. I added some more leaves on topof the grey, with mixed results. I quite like how Payne’s grey gives a rain-slicked look, and orange/brown leaves can look good. Getting the number and orientation of the leaves to look good, is hard.
