Another example from Eric Broug’s book - this one described as from ‘The Tomb of Itimad ud-Daula’. It is quite a ‘square’ design, with a lot of 45 degree angles:
Decided to ‘weave’ this one, rather than just have flat areas.
Used transparent watercolours, for once, in purple and yellow/orange. Looks quite nice:
Maybe could have made more of a gradient along the ‘long’ part of the weave (yellow-orange). Happy with the large amount of whitespace, however.
