Yes, yes it is. The fourth season had some great moments, and Max seeing this clock embedded in a wall in the school was great.
So the drawing was fairly straightforward, with a clock-like shape, and the bands of colour drawn on the wall. Getting the numbers on the clock face was a bit tricky, and the detail of the cracks. Otherwise fine.
Was a different story. Getting the brown of the wood was a bit of a challenge, and I was pleased with the shades of the wall colours. Also the cracks ended up good. But the metal parts of the clock! I bought some silver and gold inks (Windsor and Newton) for exactly this purpose. Except … it doesn’t quite work. They ended up being a bit too shiny. Then I painted over them with a greyish watercolour (for the glass) and it was not properly dry. Argh:
Overall, I reckon it’s a success, but perhaps with some flaws.
