I should really find out the names - if they have them - of the patterns I am drawing. Anyway, I decided to make an A4 version of one of the patterns from the Keith Critchlow book (pp. 131). It took … a while.
This is the geometry, with some parts coloured in red.
Drawing and painting the whole thing took most of a long weekend, so around 72 hours elapsed time. Who knows how many actual hours on paper, but I was pleased with the final result:
The colours are a bit muted, reminds me of autumn somehow.
